How to Book your New Jersey Hunter Education Live Fire Range Session

Once you have successfully completed the online hunter education course you must register for a Live Fire Range Session with the New Jersey DEP. Once you have successfully completed all Live Fire Range Session activities you will obtain your New Jersey Hunter Education Certificate.

Please note - Live Fire Range Sessions will fill up fast so plan ahead. Please check back on this page regularly - Live Fire Range Sessions are added to the schedule on a regular basis.

You must bring a copy of your Home Study Voucher and a piece of valid identification to your Live Fire Range Session. Children who do not have their own ID may have a parent or guardian show ID on their behalf.

To complete the hunter education requirements for New Jersey you must pass the online and Live Fire Range Session portions of the hunter education course.
