A. The Texas Field Day Voucher is issued once you have completed the Texas Online Hunter Education Course. The voucher is your admission ticket into a Texas Hunter Education Field Day where you will complete your hunter safety training and obtain your Texas Hunter Education Certificate.
A. No. The Field Day Voucher is proof that you have passed the online hunter safety course and allows you to take part in a Hunter Safety Field Day, where you will be issued a hunter education certificate once you have successfully completed all activities and the final hunter safety exam.
A. The Course Completion Voucher is issued to those students who are 17 year of age and older and have successfully completed their online hunter training. This is voucher is for your records only and is NOT a hunter education certificate.
A. Students who are 17 years of age and older can now take their entire Texas Hunter Education Course Online. Once complete, they will need to make payment for their course and will then receive their Texas Temporary Student Card. A permanent card will arrive in the mail.
A. The traditional Texas hunter education classroom course lasts about 14 hours and is usually given over the span of a weekend or several weeknights. With the online hunter safety course, you can do the bulk of the course work from home in an interactive and engaging online environment. Thanks to HUNTERcourse.com’s professionally narrated course content, detailed illustrations and interactive animations, you will have fun learning all the aspects of hunting and firearm safety and only have to show up to a single 4-6 hour instructor-led hunter safety Field Day.
A. Students can now taken their entire hunter education course online. There is no Field Day requirement needed and once the course is complete, you can print your Temporary Student Card.

A. The online hunter safety course is available to anyone at any time. However we strongly recommend that you locate a Hunter Safety Field Day in your area before you get too far into the online course. Field Days might be difficult to find in certain areas, so plan ahead!
A. In order to pass the online hunter safety course and get your Field Day Voucher, you must pass each chapter quiz with a grade of at least 80%.
A. The one-time course fee is $29.00.
A. The one-time course fee is $34.00. HUNTERcourse.com will then remit $5.00 to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
A. Contrary to popular belief, hunting is one of the safest sports around. This is mainly due to the fact that most hunters take gun safety and hunting safety very seriously. Careless or reckless behavior while hunting can lead to serious injury to one self or to innocent bystanders. This is why Texas requires most hunters to take hunter education courses, and to follow the 10 rules of firearm safety at all times when hunting.
A. If you have previously been issued a Texas Hunter Safety Certificate and require a replacement or duplicate card, you can find more information at www.tpwd.state.tx.us.
A. The Field Day Voucher is required to attend the Texas Hunter Safety Field Day. If you have lost your Voucher you can sign in to your exam center and print out a new copy. A. You can take the online course at any time, day or night. However, courses must be completed within 90 days of payment at which time your access to the course will expire.
