Take this province of Ontario-approved online course to receive your Certificate of Completion for hunter education.
A. The steps required to complete Ontario's online Hunter Education Course are as follows:
A. In Ontario, there is no minimum age to take the hunter education course. However, you must be at least 12 years old to participate in the Ontario Hunter Apprenticeship Safety Program.
A. The Certificate of Completion is proof that you have passed Ontario's online hunter education course. You will need to print and take it to a participating ServiceOntario location to get your certificate on file with the Fish and Wildlife Licensing Service. Once your certificate (hunter accreditation) is on file you can buy hunting licences and products.
A. No problem. You will receive your score and be allowed to review any of your wrong answers. You can then review the course material and take the quiz or final exam again.
A. The online course is $60.00 + Tax. This will give you complete access to the online course, chapter quizzes and final exam.
A. You can take the online course at any time, day or night. However, courses must be completed within 90 days of payment. After 90 days, your access to the course will expire.
A. Please visit www.ontario.ca/page/hunting and also always consult Ontario's Hunting Regulations Summary each year.
